well the latest version of invision software and invision gallery are nearing completion trouble is a lot of the modifications we use arent compatible with it yet until the authors upgrade them so shall i wait a bit or upgrade as soon as they are released?

If we want people to use the site, then the easier it is the better I reckon.

Sounds like the new one could possibly have a few bugs in it.

I would recommend leaving it as it is now and then when they come out with a final version change to it then..

Cooky, Vbulletin is not bad..... However i do like the fact that this piece of kit you use makes it alot nicer for members and all to use / see.

Vbulletin does get used alot and it is very good but i still think you should stay with Invision for the moment and hang fire to see if they come up with compatiblility for the extra mods...

Potentially implementing the new version sooner rather then later could render the site worse off.....

I think i am right in saying the general consensus is that the site works well now and is appreciated greatly, and of course mate the less work for you the better to be honest.

yeah got to say im a big fan on invision software and know its pretty much inside out as weve been using it for the past few years since 1.3, anyhow i think ill wait until after xmas to upgrade the forum/gallery and everything else that has been installed like the links, downloads etc at least that way most of the mods will be upgraded to work wth invision 2.2.0
