Up the A82 from Glasgow if you're heading to Skye, great scenery most of the way, especially Glencoe. Applecross if you've got time, there's a campsite and a great pub, and the road to it is amazing, though not for the faint hearted! The road gets a lot of gravel on the surface - ride safe!

Skye is awesome... I've been down to Scotland in 2010 with a mate. Did a tour starting in the area of Perth up to Dufftown, to Inverness then along Loch Ness with a right hand turn to Skye... Brilliant! On Skye we did a complete tour along the coastal line...amazing scenery. From there towards Fort William (Ben Nevis), Oban etc.... Would luv to do it again some day!

If you make it to Skye, after you leave Portree, head north and you'll come across Kelt Falls. A bit after the falls look for a road called the Querang, it goes from east to west, this is where all the really impressive scenery is, very pre historic.when to go is a bit of a hit and a miss. Often think Skye has its own little micro climate.

This was the week we were going to Scotland, went to Norfolk instead mostly to try the camper van out for a few days.

It rained lol

Will see how the  weather is during the year, or next year it will have to be
