@  wreckless : (08 February 2019 - 06:43 PM) just getting used to this site. have an original xjr 1300, 03 plate, black, with the nice paint job. I love it, but not had a big bike before, so still,l a bit nervous of it, but will definitely keep it, 32,000 on the clock, looks lovely. light as a feather when you ride it, but quite heavy, so i find hill starts and right hand turns hard. pleased to join this forum.

New 2016 XJR1300, love it and still getting used to the bike. 700km on the clock now. Great bike but noticed a slight unsteady feel to throttle when on constant throttle - like a mild pulsing... Anyone know what I mean? Just a thing with these bikes or can it be fixed?

I'd say carbs need balancing, but as it FI...Do the throttle bodies need syncing maybe.
Also check the chain tension.

The term used for that is "Hunting". I believe the fuel injected XJR's have some little fueling oddities, but that's as much help as I can give.

Oh shit!
