Hi guys , I need help with my 2005 clocks

On turning on the ignition the clocks fail to do the sweep, fuel gauge does come on

All the backlights come on and everything else works just fine

I,ve had the clocks off and cleaned up the terminal,

Cleaned the terminals in the headlight all to no avail

When this has happened in the past I,ve simply disconnected the battery for a few hours and the system resets itself

But I,ve left it unconnected for over 48 hours and still no joy

I,ve even tried connecting a different ECU to see if that was the problem

I dont want to go out and spend ££££££,s on new clocks if the problem is in the wiring

Anyone got any ideas please

I,ve seen similar posts on here but no one has posted a solution
